During the gardening season

Your garden waste is collected on alternate weeks to black bag waste and must be placed out by 7am. Learn more on composting.

 

Please follow this format until Monday 28th November, whereafter we run our, 'ring and request' service until Friday 30th March 2012. From week commencing Monday 2nd April the service reverts back to be being a fortnightly collection, in time for the gardening season.

 

To book a ring and request collection

Simply phone: 01446 700111, and we will book you a scheduled collection. Be aware that collections are subject to demand. You will be offered a collection date by our team; no earlier collection than the one assigned is available.real tree being carried

 

What about my Christmas tree?

We run an additional service to collect your real trees.

 

What is the schedule for next year?

Our kerbside collection service will run as an alternate week collection until 3rd December 2012, after which you can 'ring and request the service', until 23rd March 2013.

 

Collection

Your garden waste can be placed in one of two types of bags and will only be collected in these. Both reusable and biodegradable bags may be purchased from most Council offices.

 

What's included in garden waste collection?

Any bags found containing items in the 'no thanks' column will not be collected.
