What happens to my garden waste?
It is collected and taken to a local farm
where it is composted and used as a soil enhancer. You can
collect free compost once a month - find out

Other councils mix garden and kitchen waste together, why don't
we?
It depends on the contractor's requirements. We ask you to
separate yours, as both products are taken to an in-vessel
composting site in Cowbridge. They have to tightly control the
'ingredients' of the process, therefore we ask you not to mix
garden and kitchen waste.
