Welcome to the

Garden wasteRecycling garden waste kerbside collection

Collections during the gardening season

Your garden waste is now collected every other week (alternate week to your black bag collection). It must be placed out by 7am along with your kitchen waste recycling caddy and kerbside co-mingling container. Learn more about composting.

Our 'Ring and request' service

This operates during 'slower' gardening months until 22 February 2013, after which your alternate week collections resume. This is different to what your calendar states. We've shortened this year's winter 'Ring and request' service following feedback from you.

Collections

Your garden waste may be placed in one of two types of bag and will only be collected in these. Both reusable and biodegradable bags may be purchased from most Council offices.

What's included in garden waste collection?

Any bags containing items in the 'no thanks' column will not be collected, meaning the bag will be left by crews.
