Zero Tolerance
What has changed in the Vale?
The Vale continues to welcome responsible dog walkers in the
Vale; we recognise that a lot of residents and visitors
to our area behave responsibly. Thank
you, if that's you.
However, in March 2012 Cabinet decided that a tougher stance
needed to be taken with regards to environmental crimes offences
such as:
- dog fouling
- street litter
- cigarette end disposal
Patrols
Private local authority support company XFOR has been employed
to work in partnership with the Vale of Glamorgan Council since
July 2012. This will mean that the Vale is a zero tolerance
zone for these crimes.
