Garden waste bags 
Collection
Two types of bags may be purchased, re-usable fabric or
disposable biodegradable to suit your gardening needs!
Why?
Sorry but we can't collect your garden waste placed out in other
type of bag or container. This is because of health and safety
reasons, and our requirements to use biodegradable bags.
Cost
Reusable bags - £1 each
Biodegradable bags - 3 for £1
(packs of 9 or more can be bought by post and incur a
postal cost).
Where can I buy mine?
From 9am - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9am - 4pm on
Friday at the following Council offices, please pay by cash or
cheque:
- Civic Office, Holton Road, Barry
- Dock Office, Barry
- The Alps, Quarry Road, Wenvoe
Or from 8.45am–4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8.45am–4pm
Friday at:
- Cowbridge Office, Eastgate, Cowbridge
- Llantwit Office, Boverton Road, Llantwit Major
- Penarth Office, Stanwell Road, Penarth
Please note that these office close 1–2pm daily. You may pay by
cash or cheque and postal orders are accepted for transactions over
£10.
