Emergency care for the population of the City and County of
Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot, Bridgend, the western Vale of
Glamorgan, southern parts of Powys and eastern parts of
Carmarthenshire is provided by the ABM University NHS Trust.
The Department is located on four sites, namely the A&E
Unit at Morriston Hospital (the busiest in Wales, source: The
Trauma Audit and Research Network TARN) the Princess of Wales
Hospital in Bridgend, the Minor Injury Casualty Unit at Singleton
Hospital, and the 24-hour Local Accident Unit at Neath Port talbot
Hospital.
