We are responsible for most roads and pavements in the Vale of
Glamorgan.
What we do ....
- maintain the adopted highway and

signals,illuminated bollards
- prevent ice and snow from forming on the
highway
- inspect and maintain bridges and major
highway structures
- provide an in-house design
service
- control contractors working on the adopted
highway
- provide a traffic management
service
- control develeopments which affect access
to or from the public highway
- parks and playing fields

- maintenance of school playing fields and
housing open spaces
- collection of household and commercial
waste
- provision of kerbside recycling

- management of civic amenity
