Caravans parked on the highway
The Highways Act grants wide powers to
local authorities, concerning anything deposited on the highway,
that constitutes an obstruction or a nuisance.
Most complaints that we receive, relate
to caravans and trailers. Abandoned motor vehicles are dealt
with under seperate legislation by the Cleansing Department.
