The Public and Private Sector Housing Services
have moved. Their address is: Housing, The Civic Offices,
Holton Road, Barry CF63 4RU. Please use this in all

Housing is divided into four divisions within
the Council, all of which are located in the Civic Offices.

Public Housing Services
Public Housing
Services provide Social Housing Management, Tenant Engagement,
Advice Assistance and Support in relation to public housing in the
Vale of Glamorgan Council.
Private Sector Housing
Private Sector Housing provide advice,
assistance and support in relation to private housing in the Vale
of Glamorgan.
Council Tax
Council Tax is the current form of local
taxation for domestic properties which local authorities use to
raise money to pay for around 20% of the cost of local services
such as Education, Social Services, Refuse Collection and so
on.
Housing Benefit
Housing Benefit is help with your Private or
Council Rent and Council Tax payments. If you are on a low income,
you may be entitled to some help in paying your rent and / or your
Council Tax.
