Structure of the Vale Local Service Board
There are three components of the Vale LSB:
Local Service Board
The LSB has a remit to make decisions in relation to
delivering cross-cutting priorities that can be achieved only by
organisations acting in partnership. Its membership will include
those key organisations delivering local services to the
public.

LSB Partners:
Local Service Forum
A forum representing a wide cross-section of organisations and
communities in the Vale will meet annually. It will contribute to
achieving the aims as set out in the Community
Strategy (2011-21) – the LSB’s long-term vision and
short-term priorities - and feed back on how well it is being
delivered. The forum will meet in a high-profile conference open to
all partners and stakeholders involved in community planning in the
Vale. It will receive an Annual Report from the LSB.
Implementation Group
The Implementation Group forms the crucial link between the LSB
and the Key Partnerships which are essential for
delivering the LSB’s priorities. Its members are the Directors
of the Council and their counterparts in partner organisations who
are involved in the LSB's key partnerships.

The Vale LSB comprises of five Key thematic Partnerships that
work to deliver the aims of the Community
