Planning Application Forms
Planning application forms and guidance are available
below
| The
online form on the Planning Portal
website automatically helps determine which type
of planning consent is required. This reduces the risk of
an application being submitted on the incorrect form and therefore
increases the chances of a valid application being submitted first
time. This benefits both the applicant and the Authority's staff
who process the application, ultimately resulting in a faster
decision. |

Printable copies of the forms are available below for
the various types of development along with guidance notes to
help you fill in the forms. If you would like application
forms or guidance notes posted to you, please phone us on 01446
704770.
Planning Fees - The Planning Portal provides a Fee
Calculator or you can read our Guide to
Planning Fees. Please make cheques payable to the Vale of
Glamorgan Council.
Please refer to the Advice and Guidance pages before completing your
Application Form.

If your planning application includes land which you do not own
or control you must state so in certificate B, C or D of the above
forms and serve a
Notice 1 on the affected owners (if they can be
identified).
The notice can be completed on your computer and should then be
printed off, signed and given or posted to the affected land owner.
You should note that you may wish to submit a copy of the notice to
the Council.
