Nuclear Power Station at Hinkley Point, Somerset

An application has been made to the Infrastructure Planning Commission (IPC) in respect of EDF Energy’s proposal to construct and operate a new Nuclear Power Station at Hinkley Point. All details / documents are available for inspection at the IPC website. Please note that this application is NOT being considered by the Vale of Glamorgan Council, so any comments you may wish to make should only be directed direct to the IPC .

 


Barry Waterfront

Barry Waterfront - 2009/00946/OUT & 2009/00947/OUT

 

Barry Waterfront Development

On 11th September 2009 two planning applications were submitted for Land at Barry Waterfront adjacent to Dock No.1, Barry in outline to develop vacant land at Barry Waterfront for residential, retail, cafés, bars, restaurants, hotel and offices. Planning Register -

2009/00946/OUT & 2009/00947/OUT

 

These applications were considered by the Planning Committee on 7 July 2011 where it was resolved to approve the applications subject to the applicant first entering into a legal agreement.

Following completion of the legal agreement planning permission reference 2010/00946/OUT was granted on 2 March 2012
