Planning Policy
The group deals with the provision of advice and information to developers and the public about local planning policies, as well as interpreting national planning guidance and policy.
The Policy department deals with the following areas of work:
Preparation and advice on Development Plans
Production of Supplementary Planning Guidance
Monitoring the Supply of Housing Land
Preparation of Planning and Site Development Briefs
Preparation and progression of the Local Transport Plan
The Conservation and Design group provides advice and information on -
Conservation Areas, Listed Buildings, Ancient Monuments and County Treasures
We also provide advice and information on Protected Trees and Minerals and Quarries.
