Conservation Area Advisory Group
The Conservation Area Advisory Group is made up of nominated
Members from local civic societies and other interested
groups. It is currently Chaired by the Vice Chair of the
Planning Committee, Councillor R.H. Bird.
The remit of the group is to advise Planning Committee
concerning the design aspects of certain planning applications
in Conservation Areas; the group may also consider
issues relating to Planning / Policy matters, including
Conservation Area Guidance.
The group normally sits once a month in the Dock Offices with
the meeting commencing at 5:00pm. Members of Town and
Community Councils are invited to attend in cases of relevance to
their areas. This group is not open to
attendance by the general public.
