Article 4 Direction
Additional powers over minor development to houses in single
occupation are applied in the Penarth Conservation Area. The effect
of these additional controls is to require planning permissions for
alterations to elements such as hardstandings, windows, doors,
roofs, the insertion of rooflights, boundary walls and gates which
front onto a highway or open space.
