Candidate Sites Stage
The Council invited developers, landowners and other interested
parties to nominate “candidate sites” for potential inclusion in
the emerging LDP between 4 December 2006 and 31 January 2007.
Although the Council accepted late submissions until the 27
February 2008, there is no guarantee that they will be considered
as part of the candidate site assessment process.
In accordance with the LDP Manual, the Council has compiled the
candidate sites into a register and published 3 subsequent
addendums. In due course the Council will apply a 3 stage filtering
mechanism to assess the suitability of the candidate sites. Copies
of the Candidate Site Register and addendums are available for
viewing at Vale of Glamorgan Council main offices and at all Public
Libraries.
