Local Transport Plan
The Local Transport Plan sets the transport agenda for the
Vale of Glamorgan.
It highlights the Council's primary objectives for transport and
provides a robust set of policies for implementation of a more
integrated approach to transport.
The LTP should be read in conjunction with the Vale of Glamorgan
Unitary Development
Plan in order to gain a clear understanding of the Council's
proposals for the integration of land-use planning and
transport.

In response to the Welsh Assembly Governments regional approach
to planning for transport in Wales, the South East Wales Transport
Alliance has published a Regional Transport Plan [RTP]
which deals with all aspects of travel throughout our
communities.
This document together with its policies and
proposals replaces the individual Local Transport Plans previously
developed by the 10 local authorities within South East Wales.
