Early Years Event 2008

Early Years Event Art and Craft

Over 80 people working in the childcare sector attended an Early Years Training Event. It took place on the 13 September in Barry Memorial Hall and was a great success. There were various workshops including Makaton, Managing Behaviour and Gym Tots. There were also presentations on Child Protection and Quality of Care Reports.

Training

The following training courses are available for all registered childcare settings in the Vale of Glamorgan:

 

  • Paediatric First Aid
  • CIEH Level 2 Food Safety
  • CIEH Level 2 Health & Safety

Services for Children and Young People

Do you provide any services for children and/or young people in the Vale of Glamorgan?


We would like to hear about you, as we are expanding our database to include all services for children and young people age 0-25yrs.


This may be a community group, leisure service, youth club etc. In return we will:

  • Advertise your service/group, when receiving requests from the public, at information days, on the Vale website;
  • Send information to you and offer support via the Children & Young People's Framework
