Who do I contact if I have concerns about a child?

Section 47 of the Children Act 1989 places a duty upon Local
Authorities to investigate concerns about a child’s safety or
welfare living or found within the Local Authority area.
In order to effectively protect children, we work closely with
other agencies.
The Vale of Glamorgan is committed to the philosophy contained
within 'Safeguarding Children: Working Together under the Children
Act 2004' and the All Wales Child Protection Procedures 2008.
