you realise they should have a child protection policy? It’s good
practice and it’s there to protect and safeguard your
child.
Positive Parenting
Handbook
The Positive Parenting Handbook has been updated in March 2012
and now includes topics covering 'equality and diversity' and 'new
to the area', as well as many other topics such as bullying, young
carers, relationships, starting school, temper tantrums. It offers
ideas to help parents find their way through what can be a maze of
issues and advice. It has been produced by a multi-agency working
group and funded by the Children and Young People's
Partnership.
The handbook has been distributed through schools, health
visitors and libraries. You can download a copy here:

guardians that have children in full-time education and that have
been experiencing difficulties during the recession.
