Flying Start
Flying Start is a Welsh Assembly initiative. The aim is to
support families to give children a better start in life
A minimum of 627 children under the age of
four are to be targeted in a specified geographical area.
Each of these children will be offered:
- Quality free part-time childcare for 2-3 year olds
- Intensive Health Visiting / Health Support
- Parenting support and programmes
- Basic Skills
