Disabled Travel Passes

Bus Travel Passes

If you are blind or disabled, and a permanent resident in the Vale of Glamorgan, you may be eligible for a concessionary Welsh Assembly bus travel pass. This is for use anywhere in Wales on most local transport.

If you're a new applicant, you will need to fill in an application form (blue), take it to your doctor to be signed and stamped with the surgery address and telephone number and provide:

• A Council Tax bill, utility bill or bank statement
• One colour, passport-approved photograph

You can pick up a form from the Civic Offices, Barry and area offices in Cowbridge, Llantwit Major and Penarth or you can apply online

Applications can take about 3-4 weeks to process.
