Partnerships, Policies and Plans
Partnerships
In order to plan services more effectively, The Vale of
Glamorgan Partnership coordinates the Community Strategy,
which identifies key priorities for the area over the next 10-year
period.
There are a number of second tier partnerships that feed into
the Community Partnership and the following lie within the remit of
the Community Services Directorate:
- Children and Young People
- Health Social Care and Well Being
- Community Safety

Plans
Community Services are required to produce plans that must
take into account local responsibility for social and economic
wellbeing and contribute to community strategies to improve social
wellbeing. The Community Services Directorate has produced the
following plans:
- Children's Services Plan
- Social Care Plan
