Travel Behaviour Code
The Travel
Behaviour Code aims to promote positive behaviour and improve
the safety of pupils travelling to school and college. The Code
covers all modes of transport, including bus, train, walking and
cycling for all learners aged 5 to 19. The Travel Behaviour Code is
distributed with every bus pass and timetable given to eligible
pass holders. If pupils do not follow this code, the
council, schools and colleges can take action which might
involve taking away the right to school transport.
