Partnerships, Policies and Plans

Partnerships

The Council works with many other organisations - public, private and voluntary - to improve the quality of life for local people.

Local Service Board

The Vale of Glamorgan Local Service Board (LSB) is made up of the main public sector and community organisations operating in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Its role is to improve the way that public bodies and communities work together. The LSB does this by providing collective leadership on the issues of most importance to the residents of the Vale.

Together we agree shared aims and objectives, and each of us has made commitments to help achieve these goals which are set out in the Community Strategy 2011-21.

Vale of Glamorgan Community Strategy 2011-21

A new Community Strategy for the Vale of Glamorgan has been produced and represents a more coordinated approach to improving the quality of life in the Vale.

The Strategy has been developed by a range of partners to ensure we have identified the right priorities for the Vale.

More information on the work of the Vale of Glamorgan LSB and the Community Strategy can be found using the LSB pages. More general information about LSB's is available through the Welsh Government.
