aims to support parents / carers to identify and overcome the
barriers encountered when returning to work or training.
With support and guidance we will help you
find a path towards a brighter future. Work with us to take simple
steps back into learning or work.
With support and information we will show you
the way, starting with free short courses to build your
confidence. We can talk to you about what qualifications you
may need for the type of work you are looking for and even help you
find opportunities for funding, childcare, volunteering to help you
on your way.
To access this support you need to be:
- a parent or carer to a dependant child
- over 16 years old and living in the Vale of
Glamorgan
- not working or working less than 16 hours a
week
- not claiming job seekers allowance and not on
the DWP work programme
