Investigation into a complaint against the Vale of Glamorgan Council

The Public Services Ombudsman for Wales has investigated a complaint alleging maladministration by the Vale of Glamorgan County Council and has issued a Report dated 28th October 2008 with reference 200700991 to the Council with the results of his investigation. The Ombudsman found maladministration leading to injustice in the way in which the Council had suspended a man with learning difficulties from day services to which he was entitled then failed to reinstate him for two and half years. This report will be available on the website for a period of at least three weeks.
