Biography
Councillor Geoffrey Cox, a graduate of University College
Swansea, worked for British Steel before establishing a training
and consultancy business. He is retired, being last
employed as an administrator for the Llandaff Diocese of the
Church in Wales.
Geoff has lived in Cowbridge since 1971, was elected to the Vale
of Glamorgan Council in a by-election in 2001 to represent the
Cowbridge Ward.
He is a member of Cowbridge with Llanblethian Town Council and
was Mayor of Cowbridge in 2000/2001.
Amongst other activities he is a Governor of Cowbridge
Comprehensive School and Clerk to the trustees of the Evan Jenkins
Charity.
Susan, his wife, is a retired local government officer. They
have two children, one of whom lives in Spain with her family.
