Biography:
Councillor Tony Hampton was first elected to represent the
Illtyd Ward in Barry in 1983. After a successful teaching career in
schools in the Midlands, Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan areas he
took early retirement in order to stand for the new Unitary
