Biography:

Councillor Tony Hampton was first elected to represent the Illtyd Ward in Barry in 1983. After a successful teaching career in schools in the Midlands, Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan areas he took early retirement in order to stand for the new Unitary Authority, the Vale of Glamorgan Council.  Continue with biography
