Biography

Councillor Val Hartrey was born in Cardiff and educated at Heathfield House Grammar School.  She is married with two daughters.

Councillor Hartrey has been a Member of Plaid Cymru since 1989 and, in that capacity, a Member of Dinas Powys Community Council, having been Chairman twice in that time.

She has been a Member of the Vale of Glamorgan Council since 2002.
