Biography:

Rhodri Traherne was born in 1956 in the British Miltary Hospital Hanover.  He joined the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards in 1976 and during his 20 years in the Army was fortunate to serve in most parts of the world, as well as being involved in operations in Northern Ireland and the Falklands Islands.  He commanded the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards in Shropshire and London.
