The Council as a public authority is subject to a number of
legislative provisions with regard to information disclosure. These
include the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Data Protection
Act 1998. The obligations set out within the legislation apply to
all areas of the Council. As the Council operates upon a
departmental structure and data protection requirements limit the
sharing of information between departments, the primary holders of
information are the relevant service areas. The information you
provide below will not be shared externally.
