Publication Scheme

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) provides rights of public access to information held by public authorities.

The Act requires every public authority to adopt and maintain a publication scheme, and to publish information in accordance with the scheme. A publication scheme sets out the kinds of information that a public authority should make routinely available.

The scheme below lists information under seven broad classes.

Please note that although most information is available on our website, if you need to request paper copies the Council may levy a charge for providing this information

1.       Who we are and what we do

2.       What we spend and how we spend it

3.       What our priorities are and how we are doing

4.       How we make decisions

5.       Our policies and procedures

6.       Lists and registers

7.       Service provided by the council
