THE VALE OF GLAMORGAN COUNCIL
(PYKE STREET, BARRY)
(DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACE) ORDER 2007
1. On the 20th April, 2007, The Vale of Glamorgan Council in
exercise of its powers under Sections 45, 46 and 53 of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling
powers made an Order the general effect of which is as described
below.
2. The Order will come into operation on the 27th April 2007 and
a copy of the Order and a plan showing the affected area may be
seen at the Civic Offices, Holton Road, Barry and at the address
shown below during normal office hours.
3. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any
provisions contained therein on the grounds that they are not
within the powers conferred by the above Act or on the grounds that
any requirement of the same or that any instrument made under it
has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within
six weeks from the 26th April 2007 apply to the High Court for this
purpose.
4. Except as provided by the Order or upon the direction or with
the permission of a police constable in uniform or a traffic warden
no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait at any time in
a Parking Place designated by the Order, as described in the
schedule below, unless the vehicle is displaying in a conspicuous
position a Badge in accordance with the Disabled Person (Badges for
Motor Vehicles)(Wales) Regulations 2000 and a parking disc as
defined in the Local Authorities Traffic Orders (Exemptions for
Disabled Persons)(Wales) Regulations 2000.

On its north western side from a point approximately 100 metres
south east of its junction with the south eastern side of Court
Road, south eastwards for a distance of 6.6 metres.
