Vale residents praised for 54% recycling rate - 14/02/2012

Vale of Glamorgan residents now recycle, compost and reuse an impressive 54.48% of their waste, according to results for October, November and December 2011. This figure is up by 11% when compared to the same period last year.

Bookings are now being taken for new ‘Adult and Child’ swimming lessons at the leisure centres in Barry and Penarth, in which children as young as four-months-old can take to the water.

Improvements announced to the ‘Ash Path’ in Dinas Powys - 08/02/2012

The Vale of Glamorgan Council has confirmed that it will be erecting a fence along the route of the Ash Path (a footpath also known as Public Right of Way 25, St Andrews Major) that runs from Murch Road at Dinas Powys to Sully Road at Penarth.
