XFOR officers issue 78 fines in the Vale of Glamorgan

Local authority support company XFOR issued 78 Fixed Penalty Notices in the Vale of Glamorgan during the week commencing 13 August.

XFOR have been tasked by the Vale of Glamorgan Council to help tackle dog fouling and littering incidents in the Vale.

They are taking a zero tolerance approach to environmental crimes, where offenders will be issued with a fixed penalty notice of £75 without warning.

Fixed Penalty Notice offences specifically relate to the Environmental Protection Act (1990), Fouling of Land Act (1996) and Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act (2005).
