34 calls to police by Vale CCTV operators

Vale of Glamorgan CCTV operators contacted the police on 34 occasions during the week ending 15 January.

Working under the umbrella of the Safer Vale Partnership, the team passed on information which led to the arrest of a person on Windsor Road, Penarth, on January 15, for allegedly being drunk in charge of a vehicle.

The Safer Vale Partnership comprises representatives of the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Police, Fire and Rescue, Probation and Crown Prosecution Services, Vale Local Health Board, NHS Trusts, Vale Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory and voluntary bodies.
