Young goalies can catch an Easter football course

Young goalkeepers will want to catch a two-day specialist coaching course that is taking place in Dinas Powys during the Easter holidays.

Youngsters can pick up lots of tips between the sticks on Thursday 12 and Friday 13 April at Parc Bryn-y-Don from 10am to 2pm each day.

The fun sessions will cover every aspect of goalkeeping, such as positioning, handling, communication, distribution and more.

The course costs £25 for two days, or £15 for a single day. To book your child’s place please call Andy Davies on 07413 360504.

Young stoppers are also able to benefit from similar goalkeeping coaching sessions all year round, thanks to an initiative that has been set up by with support from the Vale of Glamorgan Council’s sports and play development team, Dinas Powys Football Club and the Welsh Football Trust. 

All are welcome to attend the weekly sessions at Parc Bryn-Y-Don in Dinas Powys between 5pm and 6:30pm every Wednesday evening.
