New extension officially opened at Llangan Primary School
Llangan Primary School's new extension has been officially
opened by Vale of Glamorgan MP John Smith.
The extension is an outstanding addition to the school,
consisting of a large hall, nursery, reception class, year one/two
class, a support room, toilets and offices.
John Smith MP was given a tour of the school – old and new - and
spoke to each class in turn, answering questions from the children.
He then addressed assembled guests in the new hall, including a
representative from the Welsh Assembly Government, local
councillors, governors, parents, children and friends of the
school.
The school choir then entertained the guests with two songs from
‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ before John Smith
cut a ribbon at the main entrance to officially open the new
extension.
The school's Headteacher Mrs Noyes, governors and staff wish to
thank everyone involved for all their tremendous hard work which
has been put into the school over the past year.
