Job Shop Extra on the move
Job Shop Extra, the Vale of Glamorgan Council’s job search
support project offering free advice and guidance to local
unemployed and unwaged people, has a new "home".
Previously working out of premises in Holton Road, the project
will now be based on the first floor of the new County Library in
Barry and contact details remain the same - telephone (01446)
709763 and e-mail jobextra@valeofglamorgan.gov.uk.
Its range of services will not be affected, with the experienced
qualified staff continuing to offer assistance with CVs,
application forms and letters and interview skills. Facilities
available include access to local newspapers and journals, access
to telephone, fax and photocopier, postage of applications and use
of the computers for job search purposes.
Lifelong Learning Employment/Training Service Training Manager
