Charitable trust grants help local churches
Improvement projects planned at two Vale of Glamorgan churches
have been boosted by charitable trust grants.
Grants of £3,000 and £2,500 respectively have been awarded to St
Mary's (Bonvilston) and Bethel Evangelical (Rhoose) by the Welsh
Church Acts Trust Committee through the Vale Council.
St Mary's will use their grant to repair the church boundary
wall, while the Rhoose chapel at Castle Road plan to buy new
furniture and improve car parking.
Welsh Church Acts Trust chairman Cllr Fred Johnson said: "The
committee is delighted to able to continue its support for projects
planned by church and other good causes in the Vale and Cardiff
areas."
