Making the most of buildings in your community
A new Community Venue Guide has been produced
by the Vale of Glamorgan Council’s Community Enterprise Service and
Creative Rural Communities. The Vale has a wealth of wonderful
community buildings and the guide aims to showcase what is
available in the county.
The guide gives details of the buildings such
as room size, catering and car parking along with any extra
facilities available to users. It also gives plenty of tips on what
to think about when planning an event in a community venue.
Next time you are thinking of a venue for a
celebration, class or community event, why not think about hiring
one within your community?
If you are a business from within or beyond
the Vale why not consider holding a meeting in one of these
buildings? Many of them are geared towards hosting meetings and
some are set in beautiful rural locations. So why not get out of
the office for the day for a bit of rural stress relief?
