Catch the sea angling taster session

youngsters are being offered the opportunity to have a go at sea
angling as part of a partnership initiative.
In conjunction with the Vale council's sports development team,
Penarth Sea Angling Club is offering a free taster session at
Penarth Pier on Sunday, 27 July, between 12 noon and 4pm.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn basic techniques
in a friendly environment under the guidance of experienced club
members. All equipment will be provided.
Special permission has been granted to enable the club to
deliver the sessions off the pier. Spaces are limited and
individuals are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
Vale council sports development manager Karen Davies said: “It
is hoped that those who participate in this taster session will
enjoy the sport and continue by becoming members of this very
active club which offers both competitive and recreational
opportunities. They always welcome new members."
