Volunteers are
worth millions to Vale
In recognition of the outstanding work of volunteers in the
Vale of Glamorgan, the Vale Mayor Cllr Audrey Preston has hosted a
reception to pay tribute to their efforts.
Cllr Preston was delighted to welcome a group of volunteers into
her parlour at the Town Hall, Barry, and to present them with
certificates.
Members of the Vale Volunteer Bureau also mocked up a cheque for
£22,609,000 – the incredible monetary value of volunteering in the
Vale of Glamorgan.
