Plans for the Pavilion
An exciting future is planned for Penarth Pavilion
Exciting plans are underway for the future of the pavilion on
Penarth's popular pier. The plans are the brainchild of Penarth
Arts & Crafts Limited (PACL) - the group who run the Washington
Gallery on Stanwell Road in Penarth.
The Penarth Pavilion Project has the full backing of the Vale of
Glamorgan Council. The council are providing financial support and
PACL are currently preparing a bid for a major grant from the
Heritage Lottery Fund, which will help make their vision a
reality.

Name the Pier!
PACL are asking the public to help choose a name for the
Pavilion.
It is felt that a new official name for the Pavilion will be an
important step, to mark a new start for the building and promote it
as a vibrant regional attraction with a strong community focus.
The names suggested below are open to vote, or you can offer up
your own suggestions:
- Pafiliwn Penarth / Penarth Pavilion Wales.
- Arfor (meaning: from the sea)
- Llan y Môr (meaning: by the sea)
- The Knowledge Pavilion
- Eco-Pier Wales
- Other
