Free country dance taster session
"Country Dancing to Traditional Music" has been added to the
list of music and dance activities promoted by the Vale of
Glamorgan Council adult and community learning service.
Open to beginners and more experienced exponents, a free taster
session will be held at the Old Hall, Cowbridge, from 1-3pm on
Wednesday, 21 May.
Sometimes known as ceilidh or barn dancing, this type of
communal dance remains hugely popular. That’s simply because it’s
great fun and can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities.
It provides exercise, social interaction, increased dexterity and
makes you laugh! The dances are not difficult to learn and there is
always a caller to explain and teach.
For more information on future sessions please telephone 01446
773831.
