Works compound for rail station improvement scheme -

Staff and public accessing the Council's Dock Office car park
are being asked to take extra care over the coming months.
A major improvement scheme at Barry Dock
Station is due to start this month and continue until August.
As part of the project, a site compound is
being established on Council land close to the station, with
temporary access for the works being provided from the road leading
off Ffordd y Milleniwm to the Council’s Dock Office car park.
The preparatory work to create the temporary
access is due to commence on Saturday, February 24, and should be
completed by February 26.
Major Projects Manager John Dent said: "Any major disruption
should only occur while the works to create the access are being
undertaken over the weekend but staff and public are warned that
there is the possibility of minor disruption during different
periods of the contract."
