Encouraging organisations to apply for funding, Vale Sports,
Arts and Play Development team manager Karen Davies said:
“Applications are welcomed from a broad section of the community
such as youth clubs, women's institutes, local historical
societies, the health sector and slimmers’ groups, and I am happy
to discuss any proposals before they are formally submitted. We
really do want as many people as possible to benefit from this
amazing funding opportunity at a local level.”
The next deadline for submitting applications is 1st February,
2007, and application forms are available by telephoning Julie
