Three-day Continental Market in Barry - 28/11/06

 

Barry's King Square and adjacent Holton Road pedestrian area will be the venue for a Continental Market from Thursday, 7 December, to Saturday, 9 December.

 

The "shopping experience not to be missed” will feature professional market traders selling high quality products from countries including France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Holland and Poland.

 

Stalls will be selling a range of items including olives, Italian nougat, Belgian chocolates, saucissons, cheeses, fresh breads, croissants and jewellery, and visitors will be able to sample and buy a range of excellent wines, calvados and cider.

 

The market will be open daily from 10am to 5pm.

 

Coinciding with the event will be a Christmas Grotto and visit by Santa to Central Park on Saturday, 9 December, from 11am to 5pm.

 

As well as meeting Santa in the grotto, there is an opportunity to enjoy music and singalong with the Vale of Glamorgan Brass Band and the RAF St Athan Band.

 

Admission to the grotto is £3 per child (including gift).
