Meet an author Face2Face - 16/10/06
Vale of Glamorgan Libraries have an exciting programme of
author visits lined up for 2006/2007.
Under the theme, Face2Face, the public are being offered the
chance to meet Lynne Barrett-Lee, Catrin Collier, Sheenagh Pugh,
Trisha Ashley, Shirley Billing, Lionel Fanthorpe and a quartet of
crime writers.
The next event is at Cowbridge Library on Thursday, 26th
October, at 7.30pm, when Lynne Barrett-Lee promotes her new novel,
"Barefoot in the Dark." With the book published on 18th October,
Cowbridge Library is very pleased to welcome Lynne to talk about a
novel that will literally be hot off the press! Lynne also writes
under the pseudonym, Daisy Jordan.
On Wednesday, 29th November, at 7.30pm, Penarth Library will
welcome Catrin Collier, one of Wales’ most successful writers.
Catrin will be promoting her new novel, "Tiger Ragtime," the second
in her series set in Cardiff’s docklands in the 1930s.
